Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mom. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth.
